Prof.Alfred visted UK and Germany for academic communication

From April 17 to 27, Prof. Alfred visited several prestigious universities and institutes and communicated with local professors and researchers.

On 17 April 2026, Prof. Alfred gave a seminar at the Max Planck Institute for Heart and Lung Research at Bad Nauheim, Germany and had the precious time with Prof. Thomas Braun and Prof. Rajkumar Savai.

On 21 April 2026, Prof.Alfred gave a seminar at the Department of Oncology, University of Oxford, UK. Thanks Prof. Nick La Thangue and Prof. David Kerr for the fruitful collaborations and warm hospitality!

On 22 April 2026, Prof.Alfered gave a seminar at the Cancer Research United Kingdom (CRUK) Glasgow Institute. Grateful to meet the HCC expert Prof. Tom Bird and his colleagues Prof. Srikala Raghavan and Prof. Leo Carlin. Look forward to our new project!

On 27 April 2026, Prof.Alfred gave a seminar at the Martin Lurther University at Halle-Wittenberg, Germany. Very nice to meet our long term collaborator Prof. Wolfgang Sippl and new friend Prof. Stefan Hüttelmaier. Also grateful for the accompany of Desmond from the Knowledge Transfer Office. Let’s work towards the clinical translation of our HDAC8 small-molecule inhibitor!
