CHENG Laboratory Epigenetics and Therapeutics in Immuno-Oncology

Our Lab Members presented their findings at the AACR annual meeting

From April 17 to 22, the AACR Annual Meeting was held in San Diego, California. The AACR Annual Meeting is the focal point of the cancer research community, where scientists, clinicians, and advocates gather to share the latest breakthroughs. Our lab members, Prof. Steffi, Dr. HUANG Siyuan, Dr. LIANG Zhixian, Dr. YUE Hui, YIN Baoyi, and Chole attended the meeting and presented their research outcomes.

Dr. HUAN Siyuan utilized single-cell multiomics analysis to reveal cell type-specific genetic regulatory programs underlying immunotherapy resistance in hepatocellular carcinoma.

Dr. LIANG Zhixian described how hepatocellular carcinoma immunotherapy resistance can be impacted by macrophage-induced increases in tumor cell lipid availability.

Dr. YUE Hui introduces how to overcome immunotherapy resistance in hepatocellular carcinoma by targeting TGF-beta signaling of macrophages.

Miss.YIN Baoyi clarified that endothelial cell remodeling can have an important role in driving immunotherapy resistance in hepatocellular carcinoma.

Miss Chloe deciphered the spatial immune-tumor interactions in HCC. Identifying novel targets with multi-omics integration to boost immunotherapy response.
